Mount Nemërçkë: what the sourced record says about the valley's big wall

The sourced frame for Nemërçkë, and why the big numbers stay out of it.

Where the record stands

AKT places Këlcyrë between the Trebeshinë and Nemërçkë mountains, and the Nemërçkë massif is the wall of limestone that closes the valley's western side. That placement is the sourced anchor of this note.

Summit elevations, face heights and route grades for Nemërçkë circulate in mountaineering write-ups but are not in any primary source cited on this site, so we print none of them.

The karst-water constraint

What is true of limestone country generally is true here: the rock swallows rainfall fast, so upland ridges carry no reliable surface water. That fact alone dictates how any day on this massif is planned — capacity carried, sources not assumed.

Guides before grades

Albania's tourist-guide rules apply to guided mountaineering as they do to every guided activity on this site. Until a verified guide arrangement exists, Nemërçkë stays a landscape we describe accurately rather than a route we sell.

The other wall of the valley is in the Hotova–Dangëlli note; how guided activity is verified here starts at safety and responsibility.
