What the official sources actually publish
AKT's town pages place Përmet in the Vjosa valley, bordered by the Dangëlli and Trebeshinë ranges and far from large urban centres, and locate Këlcyrë between the Trebeshinë and Nemërçkë mountains near the river. The community sites for both towns carry the local orientation those pages leave out.
That placement is the verified part of this note. Kilometre counts and driving times are easy to find online and easy to get wrong, so we hold them out of the sourced record.
Bus schedules: officially unpublished, commercially contradictory
No official source publishes bus schedules, journey times, parking or opening hours for Përmet or Këlcyrë. What exists is commercial and contradictory: aggregators claim dozens of daily departures on the Tirana–Përmet route, while bus-timetable sites list three departures each way, and booking sites list the route without figures.
The useful conclusion is the honest one: confirm any connection locally, the day before you need it. Anyone asserting a fixed schedule for this valley is asserting something no official source backs.
Why this note exists
A valley this far from urban centres deserves logistics written with the same discipline as its natural history. Where the record is silent, the silence is stated — and the reader is told what to verify locally instead.
